Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) is a non-for-profit training and talent development centre established in 1992, to appropriately skill Malaysians for a sustained and addressable pool of high impact talents for companies. 

 

The Malaysian Smart Factory (MSF) 4.0 is an emerging technology centre under SHRDC that provides competency-based smart factory training programs in the areas of Smart Factory, Data Automation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence which are widely used in Industry 4.0 applications. The MSF4.0 aims to drive technology adoption and assist companies to achieve sustainable digital transformation through talent development strategies. The MSF4.0 runs various programmes that train company employees to implement and adopt digital transformation tools and technologies. The MSF 4.0 program by SHRDC offers smart factory competency-based training through technical hands-on and online/remote learning approaches, ideal for relevant skills and talent development towards an Industry 4.0 ready workforce in Malaysia. MSF4.0’s focus is on sustainable digital transformation through talent development because they believe through upskilling and reskilling talent, they would be able to help industries grow and innovate further towards development and adoption of new and emerging technologies.

SINGAPORE HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES CONSORTIUM (HEALTHTEC) Singapore

The Singapore Health Technologies Consortium (HealthTEC) offers a platform for interaction and collaboration between industry and academia to develop and translate health and medical technological innovations in the areas that include, but are not limited, digital health platforms, wearables, sensing technologies, health analytics and artificial intelligence/machine learning, and diagnostics. The Consortium also acts as a national resource in R&D and commercialisation by providing seed funding for collaborative projects, and facilitating licensing of locally developed technologies. HealthTEC is supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and hosted at the Institute for Health Innovation and Technology (iHealthtech), National University of Singapore (NUS).
